About BagCheck

Our Mission

BagCheck exists to solve one frustrating problem: showing up to a game or concert only to have your bag turned away at the gate. We built a free, easy-to-search database of bag policies for stadiums, arenas, theaters, and festival grounds across the US so you can know exactly what to bring before you leave the house.

How We Collect Data

Each venue's bag policy is sourced directly from the venue's official website, press releases, and event guides. We do not rely on third-party aggregators or crowd-sourced data without verification. Every policy entry includes a link to its primary source so you can verify it yourself.

When a venue's official policy page changes, or when a fan reports an update, our team reviews the change and updates the listing with a new “last verified” date.

Last Verified & Accuracy

Every venue listing shows a “last verified” date — the most recent date our team confirmed the policy against the venue's official source. Policies change, especially at the start of a new season, and we aim to re-verify high-traffic venues at least once per season.

Despite our best efforts, bag policies can change without notice. We strongly recommend double-checking the venue's official website on the day of your event, particularly for one-off events like concerts and special games where stricter security measures may apply.

Help Us Stay Accurate

Spotted a policy that's out of date? Use our Report a Policy Update form to let us know. Community submissions are one of our best signals for catching policy changes between our regular review cycles.
