By accessing or using BagCheck (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Accuracy Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

BagCheck provides venue bag policy information as a convenience and makes no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information. Bag policies change frequently and without notice. Always verify the current policy directly with the venue before attending an event.

BagCheck is not liable for any damages, costs, or inconveniences arising from reliance on information provided by the Service, including but not limited to being denied entry to a venue, having a bag confiscated, or missing an event. Use the Service at your own risk.

Not Liable for Denied Entry

Venues have sole discretion in enforcing their bag policies and may deviate from their published rules at any time, particularly for special events, heightened security situations, or at the direction of event organizers. BagCheck has no control over and accepts no responsibility for venue security decisions.

Affiliate Relationships

BagCheck participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on the Service. Affiliate relationships do not influence the accuracy of the bag policy information we provide. Product recommendations are made independently of affiliate arrangements.

User Submissions

By submitting a policy update report, you grant BagCheck a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, and publish the submitted information. You represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate any third-party rights. BagCheck reserves the right to reject or remove any submission at its sole discretion.

Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to scrape, harvest, or systematically download venue data for commercial purposes without written permission. You may not use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users.

Intellectual Property

The BagCheck name, logo, and original content are the property of BagCheck and may not be used without permission. Venue names, policies, and related factual information are not owned by BagCheck and are reproduced for informational purposes.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The “last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
