Bell Centre Bag Policy (2026)
Last verified: January 15, 2025 · How we verify
Official websiteBell Centre is one of the larger arenas in its league, holding 21,302 fans in Montreal, QC, home to the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL. The arena hosts NHL hockey and other events, making it one of the busiest event venues in the Montreal area.
Like most NHL venues, Bell Centre enforces a clear bag policy. All bags brought into the arena must be transparent plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 14"×14"×6". Each fan may also bring one small non-clear clutch or wristlet (up to 6"×9"). To avoid any issues at the gate, bring a clear bag that meets the size requirements (14"×14"×6" maximum) and arrive early — security lines move faster when bags are transparent. If you arrive with a non-compliant bag, Bell Centre offers locker or bag check services near the entrance.
